IT'S NATIONAL DONUT DAY!

If you're looking for an excuse to forget about calorie counting today, you've got one. It's National Donut Day! Dunkin Donuts is giving its customers a free donut with the purchase of a beverage. Krispy Kreme is hooking up its customers with a free donut with no strings attacked! Some other good places to celebrate National Donut Day in New England: Ma's Donut Shop in New Bedford & Middletown, RI, Kane's Donuts in Saugus, MA and Baker's Dozen, which has a few locations in Connecticut. If you don't live near any of those donut shops, stop by Honey Dew for one of their chocolate-covered donuts.
