A Christmas miracle for chicken lovers in Worcester. Raising Cane's opened its latest location in the city just days before Christmas. My favorite is THE BOX COMBO, which comes with four chicken finger, crinkle fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and their mildly spicy Cane's sauce. There's also a chicken sandwich on their menu, but that's it. Raising Canes does chicken and sides and nothing else. It's good stuff. The Texas toast is addictive and who doesn't love some crinkle-cut fries?Raising Cane's is the latest in a long line of chicken places in Worcester. There's a Chick-Fil-A which is always packed, with a second location opening soon. Dave's Hot Chicken has been in the city for a year or so. Local chicken place NU Chicken is a solid option, with its baked mac & cheese on the menu. Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken also opened up at the end of 2025. Cluck & Crispy Chicken is open for all three meals and offers chicken strips, wraps and even a fried whole chicken. If you need a break from all the chicken, southern burger joint Checkers is set to open its doors soon.
