OPENING DAY AT SOWA MARKET
We waited all winter and today, on Cinco de Mayo Sunday, the SOWA Open Market in the South End of Boston finally reopened. The place was packed and parking was at a premium. Everyone was there to sample Boston's best food trucks, not to mention all of the food and crafts vendors. There were more food trucks than I'd ever seen before, so many that they were moved to a new location in the parking lot of Gaslight. Every kind of food was up for grabs from scallop rolls and lobster to vegetarian, chicken & rice and even two specialty crepes trucks. I'll have much more on all of these awesome food trucks in future posts. The market runs every Sunday through October so be sure to check it out this summer.
