BBQ AT ITS BEST AT BISON COUNTY IN WALTHAM

Stony Joe Coffee Stout. One sip of this beer at Bison County in Waltham, Massachusetts and I was ALL IN. I love coffee stouts and thought I'd give this one a try. It was a BLONDE stout and the coffee flavor was spot on - as strong as I've ever had. It was the perfect brew to sip on during this southern feast.

Every meal at Bison County starts off with a big slice of corn bread and butter. We ordered some hush puppies with honey dipping sauce and fried pickles with ranch to kick off our meal.  Other apps include chili cheese fries, grilled fire shrimp, catfish nuggets and a couple of chili's.

Eat Up New England had a tough time settling on dinner because of Bison County's extensive menu. There are quesadillas, salads, wings, burgers and ribs. Wanting to sample their food, I ordered their 1/2 chicken and 1/2 pulled pork plate. It comes with two sides, so I got the jalapeno rice and sauteed vegetables. So tasty. I haven't been so full in a long time.
