DOMENICS IN WALTHAM

Waltham is known as the Watch City, but it's also known for its delicious sandwiches made fresh at Domenics. Their sandwiches are first rate - stuffed full of fresh ingredients and made on their famous ciabatini bread. (Pictured below on their Italian sandwich). If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, they also serve up salads, pasta, pizza and mouth-watering arancini rice balls. Domenics is also known for its frittata di pasta, a delicious pasta pie held together by eggs and a variety of cheeses. Save room for dessert! Domenics has canollis and if you go around St. Joseph's Day, they offer traditional Italian zeppole.

TIPS:
* Don't go on a Sunday. They are closed!
* Give yourself time to get there. Domenics is located on busy Main Street. There are traffic lights every 20 feet, but it is very much worth the headache to drive there.
* You can park in front of the restaurant or in the back. However, parking in the back is tight. You may have to practice your three-point turn.
